Telegram has announced story features to all users. Now every Telegram user can access the app’s story feature. To celebrate Telegram’s tenth anniversary, the feature, which was previously exclusively available to premium customers, will be made available to all users of the messaging service.
Most platforms, like Instagram, share similar features. But there is a difference between Telegram and other SNSs: users may update their stories without having to erase and repost them, by adding a caption, or sticker, or by changing their privacy settings. The user can access a narrative, tap or click on the ‘Edit narrative’ button, and then make necessary changes.
The user has the option to make their stories public for anyone to watch, or private for just their contacts or a small circle of close friends. On the app UI, the stories option will be displayed in an expandable section above the chat list. The ‘Hidden’ list in your contact area, as opposed to the main page, is another place where users can hide stories written by a contact. Users may also turn off screenshots so that no one else can share their experiences.
For premium users, there is now the additional option of Stealth Mode, which allows them to delete their views from any stories they have recently read and hide anything they have been viewing for the next 25 minutes.
The window of time after which a user’s narrative expires is their choice. There are three choices for the expiration time: 6, 12, or 48 hours. Like Instagram’s story highlights feature, users can also have a story displayed on their profile forever. Additionally, users of Telegram can, as usual, add captions, links, and tags to their stories. They can also choose which camera goes where when recording and share images and movies that were recorded simultaneously with the front and back cameras.
