On Sunday, Sabinus, aka Chukwuemeka Emma, won an award for Best Online Social Content Creator. Mr Macaroni was a runner-up. After Sabinus won, a troll tweeted that Mr Macaroni didn’t deserve the award, despite his impressive achievements in the field of social media content creation.
Mr Funny aka OgaSabinus won the Best Online Social Content Creator Award
Nigerian comedian, Mr Funny aka OgaSabinuse, has won a major award. The AMVCA edition 8 awards are currently being held at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island. The comedian beat out other online social content creators including Mr Macaroni, Taaooma, and Mr Macroni. Sabinus was spotted in a music video by Davido Adeleke four years ago. The African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards aimed at recognizing the best work being done by the content industry across Africa. Mr Funny, who created the satirical comedy series, ‘Something Hooge’, was announced the winner of the award. After accepting the award, the comedian reacted with humility and expressed gratitude.

Investor Sabinus, popularly known as Mr Funny, Nigeria’s favourite skit maker, is set to sue two Nigerian brands. Sabinus’ legal team is claiming that two companies violated his intellectual property by copying some of his comic lines. The suit is expected to reach a settlement in the first quarter of 2019.
